Description
These traditional bamboo chashaku are handcrafted in Japan and designed to measure matcha powder with precision during tea preparation. An essential tool of the Japanese tea ritual, the chashaku allows you to portion matcha accurately while adding elegance and authenticity to the gesture.
Made from rare and unique bamboo varieties, each chashaku reveals the natural texture and patina of the material. Every model carries its own character shaped by time, traditional craftsmanship and natural aging.
The Shimitake model is made from aged bamboo with warm brown and golden tones developed through a long maturation process. Susudake bamboo is naturally darkened by smoke from traditional Japanese houses, creating deep and irregular hues. Kurotake is a rare black bamboo prized for its refined appearance and deep color. Gomatake bamboo features small dark speckles resembling sesame seeds, making each piece visually unique.
