Simple steps to preserve the look, function, and longevity of your RITUEL pieces.

Ceramics / Concrete

  • Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap; avoid thermal shock.
  • Avoid the microwave.
  • Dry with a soft cloth to prevent water marks.

Stains Briefly soak in warm soapy water. For stubborn marks, use a paste of baking soda and water; rinse and dry well.

Thermal shock Let hot vessels cool naturally; avoid freezer/oven transitions.

Sealed concrete bowls Prefer a bamboo whisk; avoid metal tools. Rinse and wipe immediately after use. Do not use abrasive sponges to preserve the finish.

Wood

  • Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry immediately; do not soak or dishwash.
  • Condition occasionally with mineral oil or beeswax; wipe off excess.
  • Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sun.

Oiling rhythm Once a week at first, then as needed when the surface looks dry.

Rings & stains. Try coarse salt + lemon, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Storage Keep in a ventilated place; do not store in sealed plastic when damp.

Leather

  • Dust regularly; clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
  • Use a suitable balm sparingly when needed; avoid solvents and abrasives.
  • Keep away from excessive humidity and direct heat.

Water exposure If wet, let it dry at room temperature away from heat; then condition lightly.

Scratches Buff gently with a soft cloth; a light balm can help even out the patina.

Storage Store filled (not crushed) and away from sun to avoid colour changes.

Textile

  • Hand wash or delicate cold cycle depending on the piece; air dry.
  • Avoid fabric softener.
  • Low-heat iron if necessary.

First wash Wash colours separately; turn inside out to reduce friction.

Stains Treat quickly with mild soap; avoid bleach unless indicated.

Storage Store completely dry.
